HEADS UP

Mike, over the past year we've found some success in playing the natural gas, storage and REIT sectors. There's always something to play, so most of the time I remain fully invested.

I'm not playing REIT's now, but the natural gas and storage sectors are still good. The market is focusing on earnings and I've turned my attention to forecast revisions (available free on the Naz site) for investment ideas.

NATURAL GAS
Demand will continue to outpace supply. Commodity price has outpaced the increase in individual stock prices, but the tide is reversing as the increased commodity price is now being factored into bottom line earnings.

When the commodity index spikes higher on cold weather forecasts or low supply reports, the stocks are jumping higher and in the reverse, when the commodity index slumps, individual stocks are holding their own.

Based on earnings forecasts, I've been holding OEI for months and recently added KEG (calls). Thinking of buying TESOF - their new drilling technique appears to be a huge success.

STORAGE SECTOR
Everywhere you look there's an article featuring a storage stock or the demand for storage products. Last night the topic was discussed in Wall Street Week and there's a write-up in today's Barrons, for example.

Originally we played WDC and RDRT, but I don't like the gaps in their respective charts. Looking over the AMEX disk drive index, I picked up OVRL and KMAG. I like ADIC very much. It sold off on an acquisition announcement on Friday and looks like a good buy now. LGTO
is another good looking play and MXTR looks timely.

TURNAROUND PLAYS
Ken W., Joe Iowa and I share an interest in COMS. It's selling at book and there's $7/share in the till. Chart is looking good.

NOVL looks good too. Why isn't there more insider interest in this stock?

AET - great gap to fill. I bought leaps to give it time to recover. The fundamentals say up.

AWE - turnaround already in play.

AMCV - Mentioned before. Arbitrauge play. Chart is a beauty.

CDO - Mentioned before. Earnings report kicked this one in gear. Just started the climb.

GMGC - Bollingers are contracting. Price is resting on 50 day MA/10 day MA. Looking to run.

MTNT - Selling below cash per share. This Co. burns cash, but institutions own the entire float and there's more buying in the cards. I'm in the red on this one so far :-(

EARNINGS
SLR - I was fooled by the gap under 30 and ignored the gap over 45. The higher gap looks like it will be filled first. Nice C & H formation. Robert P. brought this stock to this board.

DRS - I've been waiting for months for someone to else to notice this stock. It's a low floater with little volume, but it's moving now. January effect.

AH - Same story as above, but no January effect here.

FRDM - Joe Iowa's play has delivered good earnings. I haven't sold it. Looking good Joe.

TUP - Gary brought this one to the thread. Chart was a little ahead but looks good now.

SWC - Lucky's pick. Same as TUP chartwise. Looks good Larry.
BTW, in case you missed it, SWC was recently touted here:
investools.com

HRB - Ken didn't have the patience. It's going higher. :-)

NUTX, TEK, and TNL (mentioned before)

IFLO - I liked the Co. before. I bought the stock again.

C - Bought leaps. Interest rate play. Speaking of which, we should be looking to start picking up gold plays. Dollar down = gold up.

HEADS UP FOR NEXT WEEK

SUNW - Analyst meeting should produce favorable outcome. Push over 33 1/2 and the price will go into the 40s.

NANX - Breaking out from triangle.

XTEL - Brogan's play. Six days above top Bollinger, now has support from 10 day MA.

ALN - Reverse H & S pattern.

In conclusion, we've missed you. Welcome back.

CARY!!!!!!!!!!

Sergio

Mike, On Friday Got stopped out of my initial purchase of SWC @34.75 (BOT @28.16) for a 23% gain before commissions.
I was hoping it wouldn't go that low.
