there is a technolgy company involving jet engines and transmitting data over the internet also turbines for gas and utility companies called JENA corp whats your take on this technolgy

Hi Frank,

I agree about the IN and SS7 intensity, but I don't see why there needs to be a dip charge. This looks like a special-purpose SCP, running on standard Sun Netra hardware, and assuming Otelnet are licensing the server (software) to the provider for a reasonable price this seems like it could provide a pretty cost-efficient environment. I also like the fact that it moves the intelligence into the network, where it can be better managed and shared, rather than putting it into client devices, but I know that is not the direction others think we are going.
