RE: Can someone (anyone) tell me electric rates (cents/kWh) in the bay area??? Thanks in advance.

11.589 cents/Kwh up to 345 Kwh 13.321 cents/Kwh thereafter.

This is in mid peninsula (Los Altos Hills).

This is from previous billing cycle and will no doubt rise
significanty in the near future.

OT Hi TWY, re: Electricity

I think around $.12, however, the cost to buy electricity is around $.35, so that yields a deficit (to PGE) of around $.23.

For PGE to break-even in their purchase of electricity, the charge to the consumer should be about 3X's more than what PGE is currently charging the consumer, i.e. .12 * 3= .36

How much is it in your state?

Regards,
Amy J
