But seriously, under stress, families can do the most horrendous things to each other. Horrendous, of course, being my subjective judgment.

It never occurred to bland to kill him until we were both teenagers.

I have been observing for a long time that Bland's sense of humor is absolutely adorable. (I will not hazard a guess about how well that matches the rest of Bland.)
