Hi Baldy,

The "faithful" have sold this pig for a tax loss :) I did just that last year, flushing it out with some other crap I had bought with "irrational exuberance." Does that concept sound remotely familiar ?? ;<)

The value of RECY shares appears to be 0... You can list the full cost of your shares as the cost basis on Schedule D of form 1040... You'll only be able to take losses of up to 3000.00 per year until the losses are used up... You can also reduce your capital gains by the full amount of your losses in one year... RECY and the steel industry as a whole was dealt a serious blow when the U.S. Gov't didn't intervene in the steel and scrap metal dumping several years ago...
