Now that's a revelation. Then why did Oregon have to send California power?

<Watch out if CA forces the plants sited in CA and owned by those out of state companies to keep all the power in the state. California will have sufficient power and Oregon will instantly have rolling blackouts.>

I get the impression that Oregon has a lot of power around here. I pay about 5.8 cents per kWh, probably half of what California pays. Why in the world is California selling power to Oregon on the spot market if we're paying less than even power-starved Californians?

I'm hearing two very different stories here. Either it's a major screw-up by Californians and their politicians, or it's a conspiracy by Bigtime Corporations. And those with agendas to push aren't telling us the whole story.
