Yep, and there's a bigger difference between 8 bytes and 2 bytes.

266MHz X 8 bytes x 0.65 = 1.3GB/s
800MHz X 2 bytes X 0.85 = 1.3GB/s

Look's like the same effective bandwidth to me.

That said, show me a Rambus link stating Samsung pays 2%RDRAM royalty and I'll give you my link's. (Notice the plural there).
