DH, BIG difference between last year and this......go check out the daily number of postings that were being made one year ago vs. now and let me know what you find <gggg> For the record....I owned the Q in early 1999 and managed to experience most of the huge run-up before cashing in my chips......sold a little too soon it seems as I proceeded to watch it go higher after selling.......then watched it come crashing down and started buying back again in July in the $50 - $60 dollar range. So I've done quite well. Nevertheless, the old axiom that, "pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered " is as true today as it ever was. JMO of course but now is not the time to be attempting to make swing trades for short-term profits unless one has an IRA account and the time to take advantage of some of the daily volatility.

DH, Saved you the time from checking and did it myself just to see what I would find. Last year during the month of January there were about 7,000 postings made to this thread......this year about 2,000. A little bit less enthusiasm I would say - at least in terms of sheer numbers......Of course most of the postings on almost every individual stock message board are generally bullish in nature....particularly on SI.
