Maybe you misunderstood my post. I agree with you about the Maginot Line, and Great Wall. I was, merely, trying to confirm, what I think I read, about the Mongols breaching the Wall.

I feel, quite sure, that someone will find a way to breach any barrier that may ever be built. If there are minds that are great enough to build what they feel is impenetrable, there are minds great enough to figure out how to do just that.

Well, X, the? once claimed to be impregnable and I agreed, but have to admit I knew she claimed to have 3 children so it was obviously not true.
