It used to be that cell phones were not affordable to the average joe. Well, heck, microwave ovens started that way, and now stores practically GIVE them away for under $50.00.
But where cell phones are is in the realm of CONVENIENCE.
People are mobile than ever. The need things fast and always at our fingertips. We need it to survive in today's World.
We need to be connected with things as long as we are awake, in the car, out shopping, at dinner, at lunch, at CHURCH!!
The cell phones will get better,
and more expensive... for the 'haves'
the the have nots will scream for them,
and they will become cheaper.
When you see the best ones at WalMart with the smiley face 'falling prices'
it will mean SATURATION.
Thus the cell phones will be like the PCs
Everyone has one
WHat is the next big thing we NEED?
Until then, Qualcomm is in a good position, IMHO.
