I didn't say anything. If you were to go back and look at my original post you would see that all the words were part of a partial quote from the beginning of the news stories and were entirely surrounded by quotation marks ("..." ). None of those words were mine.

The two stories were contained in the same message simply because they appeared on the same site at the same time.

One story involves a negative opinion of the experience of Bush's program implemented purely at the state level, whose problems would be compounded, IMO, at the Federal level. This not to say that it would necessarily be worse than current practice, although it probably would be for many students.

The second story involves one of the many evils of compulsory state education, where teachers and administrators feel free to indoctrinate students for any, or no reason, to any, or no purpose.
