Plagiarism is defined as stealing somebody else's work or idea, copying what somebody else has written, or taking somebody else's idea and trying to pass it off as original... we have U.S. copyright laws and international copyright conventions and agreements to protect intellectual properties from plagiarism... plagiarism is a serious criminal business.....

The eighth Commandment advises that we not steal... I would think a violation of any of the Commandments would be considered a sin.....BWDIK

You may be right about that. Looking at the apparent mere passage borrowing, it does not seem so bad. Had it been the whole speech, though, I think it would appear differently.......
