The technology to worry about is W-ofdm or time domain. W-ofdm is a bigger threat IMHO. The ex-founder of Qcom Verbrati is now on the board of one co developing OFMD. That being said these technologies are at least 10 years away. I think the next cycle will Be Qcom's domain. I think the issue with Qcom pertains to 3G. The faster the better. However Telecom debt problems could slow 3G and if a new technology becomes to aparent in 2-3 years some may leapfrog. Qcom, much like INTC is just a machien turning out better chips, software, and related tech. As long as they keep that edge they will keep beating NOK's brains in.
At 50-60X forward earnings your paying for what you get though.
