I believe the differentiate between new artists and old. Also, they have a new service to act as agent for the artists (commercials, movies, etc), which is $25 per year, but waived (I think) for first time if the artist supplies 3 songs to be shopped around. This is also a new revenue source.

I agree, MP3.com seems to be tapping or seeding many new revenue streams.

I picked up some MPPP on the napster court ruling. Not surprised it turned out that way. Napster is likely history within a few weeks or months. Should provide a nice revenue jump for MPPP. IMHO...
