Re: Show us some DATA - Blow Hard Dan. There isn't any... yet. AMD's MPU systems continue to hang like a Damocletian sword over the head of Intel. But, so far, all they've done is hang. We do know that a dual processor AMD system compiles Linux about 150% faster than a single processor system - but that test used 3 threads for the MPU system and 1 thread for the uniprocessor system. Still, when compared to about a 50% improvement seen with dual processor Pentium systems - though compiling the same number of threads - it looks like the point to point bus may shine in MPU configurations. But we won't know for sure until production systems are in the field. Dan
