Bland- I just told you some people- autistics- have a defect that makes them much less capable, even incapable of empathy. Like ANY thing in humans there is a distribution curve. But you seemed to be saying empathy cannot be taught, and it certainly can.

As with math, and English there will be some students who become marvelously adept- others will know enough to function just fine, and a few, sadly, will not be receptive to our teaching.

But this is very different from your statement to Steve Rogers.
