I do notice a tendency for people taking sides on the political threads to also take their dislike or disgust of the other side onto investment threads. There is some of that on the AMD thread, which had a lot of political posts so a Moderated AMD thread was created. That caused the political posters on the regular AMD thread (BTW I am one of them) to no longer refrain from posting politics and other OT stuff(thinking if you want AMD only go to the moderated thread). The thing about AMD as an investment is that Intel investors, people from the Rambus thread and AMD investors all disagree with each other enough about the companies that it sometimes becomes a fight. The differnt sides in the talk about the companies and their products each contain different sides in the talk about the companies and their products each contain different political thoughts within them so people who were arguing about yields on Pentium 4s in one conversation all the sudden turn around and agree about Clinton in another. At least you don't get to many people argueing over the merits of companies and stocks in political threads... Tim
