Mike,

No need to apologize. I do find the report interesting, but as always I see this stuff as just another view.

Reading into this obviously protected world is challenging to say the least... witness the recent change in reporting procedurals in regards to volume levels on the Nasdaq exchange. Obviously Friday 2/2 was a day of distribution in the index, but because of the new directives for reporting volume exchange of shares in the Nasdaq, very few in the market realize the discrepancy in the daily volume measurements.

This was first brought to this threads attention by LG...

Do not adjust your set. . . Here's an interesting factoid for those of you who keep score on the Nasdaq volume. Beginning today it will be a lower figure, even if activity is the same as in the past. That is because, as I understand it, dealers that are involved in "riskless trades" will not double-count the volume.

What a joke. In my opinion this is just another example of the rules being changed in the middle of the game to keep the retail/small investor at a disadvantage. It's obvious "the market" is feeling the pressure to manipulate the odds to their advantage... again. I've read the discrepancy is around a 10% decrease in reported volume or so...no big deal. Almost Everyone is a bull so who cares, the bottom is in...right?<gg>

ANOTHER warning signal that distribution is at hand.

Caution here is most prudent.

Best of Luck,
