I bet that with that kind of price tag, Palm is getting the same $10-$12/OS install from Kyocera as they get from Handspring/Sony for PDA's.

Now they just need to sell tens of millions of units - a bit of a stretch in the CDMA cell phone market which is expected to run 90 million units total this year. But it's a start.
