The Street and all:
Correct me if I am wrong but this is how I remember the Bush Tax cuts:
Current: Bush Recommendation:
15% 10%
28% 15%
31% 28% (not sure on this one might be 25%)
39% 33%

On top of that he wants to DOUBLE the Child Care Credit to $1,000 and eliminate the Marraige tax penalty.

Looking at above and considering it all it sure seems to me that PROPORTIONATELY the middle class gets the better of the deal. It IS a tax cut NOT A REBATE so obviously since the rich pay MORE TAX they are going to get MORE REDUCTION but ANY tax cut results in that. This BS about helping the rich is just a camoflage for the Dems desire to KEEP people in the middle class by progressive tax rates not ALLOWING them the opportunity to raise above. BASTARDS. JDN

Street--Oh, REALLY, Bush's tax cuts are fair, eh? Well, if that's the case you might want to include a defense for the fact that the richest 10% of the people in this country get 70% of the benefits of Bush's tax cuts, rather than simply ASSERT that they're fair.

And, while you're at it, please interpret Bush's statement yesterday about opening the windows and doors and letting everyone in to the party--targeting his tax cuts to the rich is HARDLY letting everyone into the party....
