it appears there will be a shortage in WA as well. This has been a nearly rainless winter so far.

The snowpack is very low in 'our' cascade range.

Couldn't come at a worse time.

The irony of the situation is that 4-5 years ago groundwater pumps were converted throughout California to combat the rising price of electricity. They switched from electricity to...you guessed it, natural gas.
