Dear Charles, Thank you so much for the memories of my mother. Stubborn and exasperating are two very descriptive adjectives that only touch the surface of who she was. Thankfully, her stubborness pulled her through the surgery, and allowed her enough time to be discharged from the hospital to visit with her grandson. Something she talked about doing for days prior to her release. I only hope I am one-fourth of the woman she was. You had to love her sense of humor and her ability to charm her way out of any situation. Quite a remarkable woman, and a wonderful role model. Thank you for the great memories.
