I'm in agreement with what you have said on this subject. I don't think there is a commitment to our public school system anymore, for the most part. Or to the ideal of a free education to build this country and its people. Foolish, and destructive. I agree that the destruction will not be simply to those who do not get a decent chance at an education, but to our nation. But so long as the "war on drugs" is not won (and I don't think that is the intention) and drugs aren't legalized, I wouldn't worry too much about revolution. Where religion fails to drug the masses, there is crack, etal. And, of course, jails. Likely, we will just have to import a larger and larger percentage of educated workers.
