"GPRS is simply temporary interim technology" Quote Eric L

Is that in terms of the network or a couple of cards
in the basestations or the handsets, old or new??

And what in the economy and life is not temporary and
interim besides maybe old time gold and diamonds??

Personally I think OFDMA as well as ADSL is a pretty good
solution, but SDSL and CDMA might be simpler as a temporary
solution.

Unluckily the acronyms ADSL and SDSL does not give a clue
of their difference, and both work in fairly isolated
orthognal spaces, that is, isolated cables, only limited by
crosstalk which is close to 100% in the "ether".
