Joe,

All of the debt accumulated since Reagan was money borrowed to pay interest on Reagan's debt. Clinton would have run a surplus every single year if it weren't for that little mandatory $200-300 billion interest payment in the budget.

Reagan's legacy, the gift that keeps on giving.... And now Bush wants to add to it. Maybe if he gets his tax cut, he can feel better about his daddy's "no new taxes" broken promise?
