Kit, I love many of them. But I have had the mojo sign on my head with IBM for a long time and sticking out my chin like Mussolini has resulted in a bruised chin. I think there are certain areas you want to buy puts on any time they rally in the current environment: airlines, restaurants, low quality lenders, and the specialty retailers. I would even take on Walmart if it went back up to the low 60s. Last night was the first time I have seen parking spaces in locations where you won't get mugged at the local Walmart in a long time. <g>

Basically, I believe that this is a final rally for big stocks and a bear rally for techs. When just about anything gets near its one year high, break out da puts. Exceptions might be cos. with new products that look like gangbusters for a year or so.
