Well I somewhat fixed my windows update problems by going to minimal security (thanks TC). Only problem is that it claims it doesn't have a valid certificate when I download a update. As I don't believe that MSFT will be putting much more win98 updates out thats going in the too small to care pile. Heres a kickbutt reg cleaner with the cavet that I can see at least 10 ways to accidently harm your system, if you use it use caution but it's free and it found about 20 different invalid values.
