Good morning Poet... I am watching CSCO... I am a little concern as of thursday I had sold QQQ calls, bought them back them on Friday mid morning or so...then waited to see what the market would do... I waited, and thought it would go up, so I sold puts.... and then it went the wrong way -GG-. I decided to keep them over the weekend.... so I may be with a sore butt later on... I also sold puts (Feb) on SUNW however I am short calls on SUNW too (diff month). So all the good I did on January, may be getting unsettled here. otoh.... i did all this due to the Fed being aggressive on the interest rate front.... we will see soon.... that is... if you still have power... I hope the storm is a mere false warning. we will be checking out for you.

We've got a major snowstorm moving in on us today and there's been talk about potential power losses, so if you all don't hear from me later, please feel sorry for me. <g> i just heard on the news that up to 18" of snow would be possible in some places.... i hope you stay warm.... as for the market... i may be taking a tiny profit on my sunw calls. there may be a turn around and my sold puts will pay, after all.... i was bracing for a deeper fall... but.. so far it does not look too bad... then again, as soon as the 15 minutes editing window is up... the market will tank and i will be proven miserably wrong... i know it is a coordinated conspiracy between SI and the m/m of the CBOE and American stock exchange -GGG- btw... i was talking to a broker who told me that many people consider the QQQ the product that saved the American stock exchange from extinction...
