Mucho, RE: This may be offset by an increasing allowance for bad accounts.

Note that there is a lot of discretion in the numbers in that item. If increasing bad accounts would cause CSCO to miss its estimates, I bet that they would keep that number low and try to make it up the next quarter.

Last quarter, CSCO gave themselves a small bit of room for a future miss with the allowances. Remember the furor that the whole thing caused when CSCO released its 10-Q?
