Issue noticeably weak in pre-market trading. Sources telling us that retreat is based on cautious comments issued by Morgan Stanley's Chuck Philips following dinner with Larry Ellison. Hearing that Phillips commenting that ORCL's data base business is experiencing some weakness, but is noting that the data biz remains strong.... Comments have sent ORCL shares down 5.3% in pre-market, which some are viewing as an overreaction given the subdued nature of the comments.
