I'm not so sure, though, that approach will work in big stadiums, and, more importantly, not so sure that approach will translate onto the small screen with minor league outdoor football as the draw. Obviously, such works in indoor arenas, where individual wrestlers in the morality dramas can devote 10 minutes between bouts to strengthen their character and heighten the conflict by trash talking, etc. There are also large screens at the wrestling matches with which to make the characters larger than life and further augment the female characters' plastic body parts. I think football is a different animal. I think Vince would have had a greater chance for success had he tinkered with indoor arena football rather than "regular" football. One thing we can be assured of, though. The lower the ratings sink the more skin will be exposed on the cheerleaders.
