The trough that the $17.50 CPQ Max-Pain Pointâ„¢ is sitting in is very shallow (ie the total value difference between the $17.50 point and the strike points above and below is not that much money). IMHO, the trough is broad and shallow enough to not present a very powerful attraction. Almost any kind of 'news' could swamp it out and move the stock price one way or the other.

Unlikely, IMO, unless BOTH CSCO and DELL bomb. I am expecting the FED to cut rates in mid February and no later than the 20th. That ought to give everyone a shot in the arm.
