John,

I highly doubt Crisco misses earnings. In fact, I would be very surprised if they didn't beat by a penny.

They have very good accountants, they've shown that time and time again. To make earnings, all they will have to do is sell enough stock to make the number. It's not that hard a game to play [if you ignore the future consequences of doing this].

Since Crisco is pushing on its lows and the Naz is well off its lows, I'd expect a pop post earnings regardless of what they say. Unless the financial statements completely blow up, but I believe they can at least delay this until the second half of the year or even next year.

If they bounce Crisco after earnings, I'm selling more, a lot more. [no moves before earnings besides what I've already done]

john i respectfully submit that revenues grew 15% from previous quarter but inventories jumped over 50% in the same period. If it had grown 15%, earnings would have been 8 cents lower last quarter. That makes this quarter 8 cents harder to beat. Its cumulative if inventory outgrows revenue again this quarter that makes the next quarter that much more difficult to beat. Until finally a big bath happens and stock tanks. Its elementary my dear watson.
