as well, the doling out of research dollars for these diseases is driven by which opinions on the part of scientists; which opinions the government will 'approve.'

that is, the scientific opinions which the government research dollars will support; well those are the opinions which, when made popular will give the government the greatest ability to manipulate the populace through fear.
