Patricia, what does it say after 'opens with'? It should be the name of the program assigned to files with the zip extension.

Patricia,

You may very well have a Zip/Unzip program, but something
is stopping it from working correctly. I do know if you
install Winzip it will take over from whatever your current
(not working) program is. You can always delete it later on
if you desire so.
