Marginal tax rates now are much lower than they were under Eisenhower.

The Federal rates are up from 28/31 to 39.6 in just a decade. That to me is an alarming trend.

Do you honestly think that peasants in the middle ages lived better than we do?

I am talking about their taxation, not their quality of life. Speaking of taxation, do you think increase of their taxation to Clinton level would instantly turn them into SUV driving suburbanites?

What has that to do with Joe's current tax rates are a multiple of what serfs had to pay in middle ages statement?
