Hi, Clappy, don't mind if I do...the soapbox pulling bit...you should appreciate
my "play on werds" there, seeings as how I talked about soaps in my most
recent posting to this thread just a few clicks back from this'un.

BTW, for the Record, I like you PEAKED better 'n my buddy, Richnorth's
"piqued" prefered spellin'....
You see, ONE of my allllllllll time flav-or-RIGHT perfumes was a fragrance
known as PIQUE....oh bout 25 years ago...my then smart-aleck spouse
called it "PIG ue..." the thot'less jerk. ...t'was just one of the many faggots on the pyre
that led me to slap him silly with a divorce settlement that went hugely in my
favor a few years later<g....> PIG...ue my asp...<g>

Okay, 'nuff of the anecdotes.

Here's the scoop, Clappy, mah fren....
I've maintained on these cyber strands for lo' these many years, how my
cost of recovering 24K gold from miasmatic amplitudes of discarded sources
was less than $20 per oz.

What I did NOT say was that most of THAT $20 cost was because of recovery
costs by my refiner.

Now that I've used this winter to become a student of the art of gold RECOVERY
and REFINING, that cost is now a negative gold acquisiton cost, even with
the chemicals, cupellation, crucibles, tongs, gloves, goggles, etc., factored
in.

AND I CANNOT BEGIN TO DESCRIBE THE THRILL OF SEEING THE GOLD
WINK...and all of you who recover and refine your own gold know EXACTLY
what stage of firing that represents, and known that that batch of cookin'
is done.

IF you'd like to see an image, I'll give you a peak at the last page of my
book, in the colored illustrated section, where several of those little
sweeties can be viewed in their...
negative cost
splendifferous glory!

page.auctions.yahoo.com

If it doesn't show up there, let me know, and I'll try to find some ISP
server space to put that picture up on as I don't have it anywhere
else at the moment.

AREN'T THEY PURDY?????
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeehaw

All the best...
PS...can you believe the Q???? Closed on it's LOW, Friday...
damn if I'm not gonna get me s'more down here...WOW...
I never thought I'd see it below $55 again...is the world comin'
to an end and someone forgot to ring the bell?

All the best, Clappy...
and keep in touch, my friend.
