Hmmm...we've gotten in about 12-Cat6500,25-5509's Lots of 2948 and 2924 (100) , a dozen or so 7200 routers lots of 2610 & 3640 routers not to mention 50 or more each 4003's & 4006's switches. Lots of Directors and PIX boxes.

Even got some the Aironet wireless access points and a load of wireless NIC cards. Longest we waited was 2 months and that was for componet shortages toward the end of the year. Maybe that's why Cisco is wanting to work a deal on some of the 11 spare Cat 6500 Sup. engines we have on hand.

Maybe, just maybe they have a short supply :-)

CSCO has not adequately addressed why they are unable to meet orders for Cat 6500. This is the overwhelmingly key product they are selling and they cannot seem to get it under control.

Industry folks are watching, analysts are concerned; expect this to be adressed in analysts' comments after tomorrow.

I believe their exit from OIE is occuring as we speak and NT's exit from the enterprise has been a slow bleed. As for the Cat6K - yes - it is in high demand. I think Cisco was attempting to solve the supply problems when the built inventory. The street didn't like that. Customers don't like long lead times. Cisco's in a bind due to their own success. That I would categorize as a "good" problem.
