FORT WORTH, Texas (Reuters) - RadioShack Corp. (RSH) on Tuesday
reported that sales at company-owned stores increased 9 percent for the
month of January.

The consumer electronics retailer said total comparable sales from its retail
division, including sales to its dealer/franchise stores, increased 13 percent
for January, to $370.3 million from $328.9 million a year earlier.

"Our strong sales results in January were led by our parts, accessories and
batteries category and computers, with the computer category showing the
strongest gain,"
Leonard Roberts, chairman and chief executive officer, said
in a statement.
