Scumbria, But you do know perfectly well that the Republicans running Washington will not cut Social Security Social Security has bigger problems that current balance of payments. It is the unfunded mandate to pay 17+ trillion dollars to the retirees (thanks to promises made by FDR that mushroomed to $17 trillion) It needs to be reformed. The promises need to be adjusted to something that can realistically be paid. Clinton unfortunately took an 8 year long nap, and avoided the issue, which made the problem bigger. Joe
