Under the amended three-year agreement, AMD will allocate Cisco more than twice the Flash memory devices than were previously committed. The Flash memory devices will be used to store sophisticated code and data for Cisco's networking systems. "We are honored and pleased to expand our partnership with Cisco, the world's leading internetworking company," said Walid Maghribi, group vice president of AMD's Memory Group. "Major Flash memory users such as Cisco recognize the importance of a consistent supply of advanced Flash memory devices, and the strategic value of aligning with AMD to ensure access to the high quality products they need. We remain committed to offering our customers advanced products with the highest levels of service."
