As the header states, "If and when you have resolved, for whatever reason, to support a woman's right to choose, please feel free to join in our discussion of strategies. " Great, so while you take a stand against second or third trimester abortions, we are in some kind of solidarity. Good to have a lawyer on our team. If there is a gaffe it is any presumption that I hold myself out as an expert. I'll try to have all my facts straight when I engage in debate at the Boxing Ring. I really didn't want to hold this banner, but I don't see anybody's position on abortion changing as a result of discussion on SI and so this seemed a more productive investment of energy. I'm regretting it already. I may have overestimated SI population's capacity or inclination to respect thread headers. $500 was a lot of money in the 70's. Tantamount to abortions only for the rich. A return to a state by state decision. is not okay with me. Are you comfortable with that?

Cobalt Blue, You should be ashamed of yourself, writing not one but two posts like this on a thread that is clearly a pro-choice board. A number of weeks ago, you made a series of baffling "goodbye" posts to many of us here. I have respected your desire to move away from the LWP and to post your conservative views elsewhere, but your patronizing posture to YYB, coupled with your clearly being in violation of the thread header, have prompted me to post to you. I believe you owe YYB an apology and owe it to yourself to move your anti-choice opinions off this thread.
