Hey B
One has to be in the kingdom before it can be said that they have been ejected from it. In other words, many people who seem,(from our limited perspective) to be "saved" have in fact, never come to God on His terms. Rather they have told God what they are willing to do and assumed it to be enough. It is always what they have done to make themselves acceptable to God, never acknowledging their total inability to even begin to do so. This renders the Cross of Christ, an option, and makes mockery of the grace of God.

Judas is a prime example of this, and must give each of us pause to reflect on the foundation of our own relationship to God. Do we stand before a Holy God on our own terms, dressed in the filthy rags of our own righteousness??? Or will we come to Him on His terms, By Grace, through Faith, (even that is from Him), in the substitutionary, atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross??? I think most people would choose to sing along with Sinatra and say "I did it my way" Sadly I saw someone on the "Hour of Power" singing that very song, to the great delight of all, how sad.

Have a great day
Greg
