You have to admit that the Republicans do a much better job at spinning the facts. When you look at the actual data, Republicans tend to borrow and spend, Democrats tend to tax and spend, the key phrase in both cases is "spend". Both parties like to reward their supporters and punish their opponents, and they usually do it under the banner of "stimulating the economy". But I tell you, I find it absolutely hilarious that the Republicans, after decades of harping about the deficit, now think that it is more important to not pay it off...

And people wonder why I am cynical about politicians.
