Dear The Street: You are correct and that is why a rate reduction OF COURSE will benefit those that PAY MORE to begin with more than those that PAY LESS to begin with. HOWEVER, what I want to STRESS again and again is that the REALLY RICH are not paying those rates, it is the upper middle class and somewhat rich that are paying. The Dems will try and sell this as BENEFITING only the rich, I am arguing a rate reduction benefits those that are STRIVING to be rich. Am I clear on this?? ie dont accept those class warfare arguements, they are secretly designed to keep us under the THUMB of govt. NOT to help us. JDN
