I'm currently writing CCs on PMCS. It's a stock I've held for a long time, so even at today's "depressed" price, I have a huge profit. I usually sell slightly OTM strikes, so if it goes up, I'll profit on the move up as well as keeping the premium.

The trick to CCs is to find a stock that has enough volitility to give you good premiums, but enough stability so that you don't lose too much capital if the price falls! A narrow tightrope indeed!
