John. I am a Qualcommer first and a Nokian very second.

I am, however, going to remind you, that Nokia made their handset forecast last year and QUALCOMM did not.

CDMA subs were supposed to grow by 50 million last year.

CDMA subs grew by 30 to 35 million.

UWCC made their forecast. GSMA exceeded theirs. CDG was 15 to 20 million short.

Do you wonder where the overhyped handset forecast came from in 2000?.

I don't.

I hope your happy that IS-136 TDMA is the fastest growing technology in the world.

I'm not, but I'm sure we will shake it off this year.

Now all we need is 90 million handsets this year. <g>
