The Richmond Club Announces its Publicly Traded Shell/Private Company, Matchmaking Forum February 27, 2001
TORONTO, Feb. 5 /CNW/ - A first for Canadians - On roBtv and
www.roBtv.com on Tuesday, February 6th at 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm, The Richmond
Club will announce its Publicly Traded Shell/Private Company, Matchmaking
Forum.
On February 27, 2001, The Richmond Club (www.richmondclub.com) will
showcase 30 high-growth, private companies looking to go public by RTO for ten
minutes each. This event will be held at The National Club in Toronto. The
audience will consist of sixty people who are owners of available Canadian
and/or U.S. public shell companies and potential investors. It is believed
that this is the first time a matchmaking event for public shell owners and
private companies has taken place in Canada. Prior to this event, an arduous
hunt was required by both the private and public shell companies to find a
suitable partner. Now, it will be quicker and easier for the private companies
and their financial intermediaries to develop a short-list of potential
partners and strike a deal.
