HTH, re:"I hope others at INTC aren't as close minded as you appear to be. You really should try to get out of the box sometime, it can be fun and rewarding."

Are you freakin' kidding me? Do your parents know you're posting on the internet?

Do you understand that stock options expire if they not exercised?

Officers at Intel and nearly all companies have a limited window when they may trade. Generally, a couple days after an earnings report, so the market can digest the news, and continuing for a couple weeks.

The window can be closed if there is undisclosed material information, such as a pending merger. There are tax and other considerations that make a same day sale on exercise wise and sometimes the only practical solution.

Are you suggesting that the officers just leave the money on the table so that you are happy? Your thinking "outside the box" is ridiculous.
