Don, What about VXN which is tied more to NAZ 100, it is 61.75, down 2% today. Not much history on that new index so hard to tell where it is going from here.

CBOE has made available historical data on the VXN all the way back to Januara 1995. It's available from their web site. Simultaneously with the VXN which is based on NDX index options the AMEX has made available the QQV based on QQQ options. Barrons had an interesting piece last weekend detailing the differences in methodology based on which these two volatility indexes are calculated.
